Recent Class work

Recently we have been looking at Professional filming compared to high street camera and amateur filming. It allowed to see how the amateur film used different instruments just to generate a different camera angle and type of tracking, one interesting piece of equipment was a frame that could be held with two hands just to be able to hold the camera steadier. This gave me ideas and more thought on how to achieve different camera angles to express the feelings or emotion that I would want to capture. Overall the professional music video won but it had a huge advantage compared to the amateur film, it just shows that with more thought and going outside the box can allow you to achieve a great shot.

Other thoughts that the video had touched on was problems that can occur such as actors not being able to have enough free time to be able to film. This can be resolved by trying to film as early as possible so if actors are unable to film you can still have time to continue shooting before the deadline. Also filming around the particular role and doing the other shots can save time instead of trying to film all at once when you have all your actors.

Overall the lesson gave me more knownledge but also a belief that i can create a profession Music Video
